My son is nearly 13 years old, and this is a great book for teaching teenagers what it means to "workout." This is a total body workout that allows you to set your own pace and intensity. I have a hard time getting all of the exercises in a 30-minute window (for me it's more like 45 minutes), but that's something to shoot for over time. Body weight and an exercise ball are all you need to work on your power, your balance, and your strength. I'm training for a half marathon, and this workout ends up being my cross training on my "off" days - GREAT BOOK THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND HIGHLY!
