This book was a lifesaver for reviewing before my final; however, I used the casebook written by these authors, and one of the authors was my professor. I don't know how helpful it would be to other users.
This edition would be better if it followed the style of Mastering Criminal Law, which had far more comprehensive and highlighted factors, tests and elements in the body of the text. Otherwise, this text covers the ground needed for a basic torts class in accessible prose.
first, a caveat, one of the authors of this book is also the author of my text book and my professor. so i figured i had a pretty good chance of learning what he thought was important by reading this. it is concise, easy to understand and the organization helped me put things in a logical order. i read this at the end of the semester a few weeks before finals and only wish i had it since the beginning.
I used this book for my Torts 2 class in Law School. It was by far the most helpful supplement I have used. This book explains the law and how it operates rather than list the information in an outline format. This format really helped me to understand what I was reading and not just memorize it. I would greatly recommend to anyone who is looking for a good torts supplement. I would most definitely buy this book again!
