About the Author
Marion Dane Bauer is the author of many books for young readers, including the Newbery Honor book On My Honor and the New York Times bestseller My Mother Is Mine. Her other titles include A Mama for Owen, If You Were Born a Kitten, Grandmother’s Song, and Thank You for Me! She has retired from the faculty of the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program in Writing for Children and Young Adults where she was the first Faculty Chair. Used the book in my Pre k class (4-5 yrs) to teach children facts about the wind, during weather week. Children loved it , would purchase other books from this series!
Used this book to introduce wind power and paired it with making our own pinwheels!
Very appropriate and very informative for a five year old. Nice illustrations too. We have Wind, Clouds, Rain and Snow and my son says he loves them.

not what I expected but ok i guess
I purchased Wind, Rain, Clouds and Snow. Wonderful short science books and very easy for young readers. My 5 year old twins love to read their 'science' books. It is difficult to find simple non fiction books for this age group, but these are perfect fit.
